A beautiful late 1920's / early 1930's eight-panel newsboy cap in a gorgeous black & white tweed wool. The wool has a beautiful drape and the proportions (dig that 11" crown!) are wonderful. Only two signs of age on this otherwise pristine cap: 1) the crown button has rusted slightly underneath the fabric, yellowing the button a bit (see pic). 2) The luxurious silk lining has loosened along some of the inner seams (see last two pics). This can be repaired easily, but it doesn't hamper wearing the cap as is. No tags, unknown maker.
Like all the caps I sell, this has been carefully washed to remove dirt and oils, the leather protected and dressed and the cap reshaped to its original glory.
