Cap 11: Modern Handmade Replica of 1920's Top-Pleated Newsboy Cap (Update: SOLD)
Although this cap isn't true vintage, it is made by one of the best in the biz for vintage-styled headwear...
This beauty was made by Barry Simonds of Simonds Bespoke Caps and sadly is too big for me. He has given me his blessings to sell it on.
Simonds has stated that he doesn't think he'll ever make this style again due to its difficulty, so this is a truly one-of-a-kind cap!
Vintage 1960's mustard/black wool; acetate liner; full leather sweatband. See pics for original 1920's design he based it on. Soft and luxurious, with a full 11 1/2" diameter and 2 1/2" cardstock brim. Don't miss this one - I hate to see it go.
